"Good Morning Kids" album review by Electric Kids Music
Well if music is supposed to make you feel good, this album pushes all the right buttons. In Woody’s World the listener is taken on a musical adventure, delivered through some delightful songs of genuine authenticity and real emotion. The artist is very much a storyteller at heart, and despite sharing a Christian name with one of the most famous folk singers of all time; there is an earnest originality about the music. His ability to tell a story and describe the setting with such veracity enables the listener to feel a real sense of connection. This musical adventure unfolds like a fairy tale, where everybody is invited, and can equally contribute towards this utopian world, that if it did exist I for one would love to live there.

The Good Morning Kids Show
From it inaugural season in the Wonderland Spiegeltent, Melbourne,Woody's World has presented The Good Morning Kids to thousands of kids and parents at major events around the Australia.
"Dad, we should take our album and turn in into a proper show for kids" said Woody's youngest JJ. Sometimes you have to take an idea and run with it...
A year later, we had Hercules the Puppet and a puppeteer to play him, the script based around the songs on our album, we had built the set and rehearsed for a week with our director.
The result is a an authentic performance experience for young audiences, complete with puppetry, theatre, comedy and of course original songs from the accompanying album "Good Morning Kids".

about
“Can you write a song about mice?” was the brief from the kids. “OK, that should be easy”, I thought. But it was tricky to record this one. We tried piano, toy piano, mandolin, jaws harp, guitar, tambourine…. Finally we settled on ukulele, marimba and glockenspiel.
lyrics
One day when I was walking home, I picked up a magic stone,
I held it tight and I closed my eyes, I held my breath and I shrank in size.
The world got big and I got small, for all the grass was really tall,
I found myself outside the house of Charlie and Belinda Mouse.
Charlie and Belinda Mouse, invited me into their house,
I went in and had some tea; next time won’t you come with me?
I wiped my feet upon the mat, put my coat upon the rack,
I passed a room with six little beds and twelve little slippers all white and red.
And there in the kitchen all in a row, were six little bread boards all with dough,
A table neat and carefully laid - a dozen little muffins on a baking tray.
Charlie and Belinda Mouse, lived inside a tiny house,
They’re as friendly as can be; next time won’t you come with me?
I was about to drink my tea, but Belinda said, “Just hold on please,
Charles ring the bell at least four times, let the little ones know that its supper time”.
Harriet, Scarlet, Ginger, Pride, they wiped their feet and they came inside,
“Jordan where is baby Peep?”, “He’s under a mushroom having a sleep”.
Charlie and Belinda Mouse, lived inside a tiny house,
I ate my muffin, drank my tea, next time won’t you come with me?
After supper and a chat, it was time to grab my coat and hat,
I thanked them for a lovely time, we all smiled and hugged goodbye,
Then I rubbed the stone three times, held my breath and closed my eyes,
And then I was my normal size.
