Woody's World's debut CD featuring 17 tracks for little people and their parents.
"Good Morning Kids" album review by Electric Kids Music Well if music is supposed to make you feel good, this album pushes all the right buttons. In Woody’s World the listener is taken on a musical adventure, delivered through some delightful songs of genuine authenticity and real emotion. The artist is very much a storyteller at heart, and despite sharing a Christian name with one of the most famous folk singers of all time; there is an earnest originality about the music. His ability to tell a story and describe the setting with such veracity enables the listener to feel a real sense of connection. This musical adventure unfolds like a fairy tale, where everybody is invited, and can equally contribute towards this utopian world, that if it did exist I for one would love to live there.

The Good Morning Kids Show From it inaugural season in the Wonderland Spiegeltent, Melbourne,Woody's World has presented The Good Morning Kids to thousands of kids and parents at major events around the Australia. "Dad, we should take our album and turn in into a proper show for kids" said Woody's youngest JJ. Sometimes you have to take an idea and run with it... A year later, we had Hercules the Puppet and a puppeteer to play him, the script based around the songs on our album, we had built the set and rehearsed for a week with our director. The result is a an authentic performance experience for young audiences, complete with puppetry, theatre, comedy and of course original songs from the accompanying album "Good Morning Kids".

This was written by my Dad in about 1974. I changed the words and based it on a true story about a tiger snake that lives around our place. We have reached an agreement: he doesn’t bother us and we don’t bother him - then everyone’s happy.
We’re told to care for kangaroos and to protect old emus,
We’re nice to wombats and birds that fly, but there’s one creature we always pass by.
It’s not that dangerous really, but it could strike at any opportunity,
Some are brown and some are black and some have stripes all down their back.
They go SSSSSSSSSS
There’s the Taipan with his poisonous fangs and the green snake up in the tree that hangs,
There’s the Copperhead and the Black Snake, too, but I’ve only got time to mention a few.
Like the Tiger that’s living underneath my house, the kids and I well we named him Ralph,
I think he thinks he owns the place, with a pool, a car and a parking space.
He goes SSSSSSSSSS
The other day we were having tea when Ralph slid up right next to me,
I smiled at him and he smiled back, he licked his lips and hissed, “I want a snack”.
I quickly thought, ‘Do I run or freeze?’, and then felt I just had to sneeze,
I couldn’t hold on any more, so I let out a God-All-Mighty roar.
Ralph went SSSSSSSSSS
So if you see Ralph, remember what I say, before you come to visit or say G’day,
Don’t shake his hand if he wants to play, and everything will be OK.
